No shortage of media at this year’s Battle at Hastings III. Cameras were everywhere catching 4 hours of non stop shredding.
So much rad skating went down that everyone seemed to get their own take on what happened.

Safe to say the Battle at Hastings III did not disappoint this past Saturday. Â The weather was perfect, the crowd was stoked and with $5k for first place up for grabs – the skaters came for a fight.
Its been said that the battlefield is a scene of constant chaos. The winner will be the one who controls that chaos, both his own and the enemies. Â

Spots are filling up, so you should pre-register. Please do so by emailing us info@blvdskateshop.com. $40 to enter, 30 spots in total. $10,000.00 purse with $5000 going to 1st place, $2000 for second, $1000 for 3rd and $500 for 4th. The rest is going into best tricks and other fun stuff : )

This has already been such a crazy summer [ Vans Syndicate party, Mike McGill demo, Kensington contest,Tony Hawk demo, Vans Roadblock] and its about to end with a bang .
We’re giving you 10,000 reasons to look forward to the end of summer.
 Heading into its 3rd year, the Battle at Hastings is the premier outdoor bowl event in Canada..,
As many of you know Blvd once again took part in the Vans Roadblock contest back on August 5th. Four shop teams competing on four secret obstacles (that we each supply) for $4000 in cash.
After a fairly lackluster showing last year, it was unanimously decided amongst the team that we should kick some ass or go out in a blaze of glory.
Pretty sure we accomplished both..
What a great day of skating this was. The jam session a week earlier with Mike McGill definitely set the stage for some serious shredding!

Time for another Vans Roadblock. Come downtown tomorrow and watch four shops battle it out for $4g’s cash. Â We’ve got a ‘special’ obstacle this year. Don’t miss out!

I think I finally understand the term ‘whirlwind’, because that’s what the whole thing felt like..
It all started the morning of July 28th when 50 lucky people won the chance to meet Tony Hawk/Willy Santos and Kevin Staab at the shop.
